From the elegant coastline of Paphos, with its softly lit promenades and crystalline water, to the chic energy of Ayia Napa (not just a party hotspot it turns out!), every moment balanced laid-back beach life with curated design and boutique hospitality. I stayed at the 5* Mare resorts, where soothing sea views and sun-soaked terraces became the backdrop to relaxed evenings and long, leisurely breakfasts. Between café hopping for halloumi and honey, discovering hidden bays and sampling local wine at sunset, it was a journey that married culture and coastal calm in perfect measure – a welcome contrast to London life…
